RTD

DU strongly encourages members of our community to make use of Denver's public transit system (RTD). In addition to an on Campus light rail train station the University of Denver has 2 main thoroughfares serviced by Bus. These lines include the East-West bound Route 21: Evans Avenue and the North-South bound Route 24: University Boulevard. We provide employees and many of our students with passes that provide free service throughout the RTD system.

Student Transportation Passes

RTD College Passes provide eligible students full use of regular RTD bus and light rail services, enabling the holder to ride on RTD services without paying any cash fare. The College Pass is not valid for special services (SkyRide Bus, BroncosRide, RockiesRide, etc).

To activate your CollegePass, download the RTD MyRide App for your mobile device, and create an account using your @honornm.com email address.

Full instructions for installing the app, creating your account, and activating your CollegePass can be found here:

If you cannot access the MyRide App, contact the DU ID Office at pcard@honornm.com and we can assist you with obtaining a MyRide Card.

Not all students are eligible for the College Pass. Please see eligibility details below.

Eligibility is calculated on a term-by-term basis. We recommend checking your eligibility status every term to ensure an issued pass is still usable. Passes issued for upcoming terms will only become active once those terms have begun.
